This is THE 2013 Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Chili Champion recipe. Even if you are full – this spicy hot chili will leave you wanting another bowl. Our family eats this the day after, meal after meal. Made with onions, peppers, garlic, ground pork, round steak, beans and a bundle of spices that you won’t forget. It took days to get this recipe perfected – but well worth it. Order two batches and leave on in the freezer.

Preparation Instructions
four servings Thaw in refrigerator. Remove the cheese from the bag. In a large saucepan warm the chili for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally to keep it from sticking. Or dip out enough for one bowl at a time and warm in the microwave for a quick meal.

Serving suggestions Best if prepared within 2-3 months. Serve with your favorite condiments: lime wedges, dices fresh tomatoes, diced avocado, sliced scallions, chopped red onion, minced cilantro, sour cream and/or the included shredded Monterrey Jack cheese.
